We are the Maloney – Munn Family!

 

I owned my first beagle, a gift from my brother, before I was in kindergarten and had her for more than fifteen years. The memories she gave me riding on my snowmobile, walking along the Alaskan beaches, camping, hunting, the much-needed comfort and companionship growing up. I still cherish that dog in my heart to this day. 

 

I have loved beagles for as long as I can remember. Growing up, every elementary school teacher knew my love for this breed and my dog, LadyBugs, due to my repeated written reports on The Beagle. When I lost my last beloved beagle I vowed to wait for the right time in my life when my heart could open and love again. Of course, the wait isn't long at all when it comes to bringing these amazing creatures into our lives and hearts. Any heartbreak mends like no other when a small, furry, bundle of cuteness looks to you for love and protection and is willing to be your furever protector and companion for their entire life. 

 

Having stumbled upon information about the Pocket Beagle when I was a teenager, and pursuing very little research available at that time, I dreamt of owning one. Pocket Beagles were, and still are, very hard to come by.  After owning full-sized Beagles I knew this breed was the companion of choice for me and my family. However, after reading up on these wonderful miniature versions of what I’ve always loved, I knew that owning a Pocket Beagle was an extra special treat. I felt strongly that I would work to bring the joy of  Pocket Beagles into the lives of other families.

 

We now have four female and two male Olde English Pocket Beagles. We kept back two of our favorite tick offspring this last litter from our Adele and Wallace combination so added another female to our "pack" as well as a male to use as a stud for two different females when he is old enough and proven. We will be expanding our “pack” and adding another one or two within the next two years that is non-related as well to add to our furfamily breeding stock. It is our sincere desire to educate other families about this remarkable breed and add to their furever families like we have.

 

Through loss and tragedy in our lives we have reached out and held on to our much-loved fur family for comfort.  There is nothing like the love of a special dog in your life to help heal your pain and help you through some incredibly difficult and challenging times.
